Broad Outline
What exactly the competition presentation is? and How could it be competed among participants?, these are the questions commonly appear in our mind at the first time. Most people makes presentation to show or explain the information in the group of audience briefly as possible with high quality information to attract and inspire the audience to take actions relate to the information. And most presentation is always accompanied by screen projector (slides).
Almost the same with the description above only the different things are:
1. The competition presentation will not accompanied by slides but it’s supported by frames (films type or animation frames).
2. Presentation performance will be closer to speech skills (Orator) and not as marketing skills (Selling things).
So, we could say that Competition Presentation is combination of speech competition and animation frames (films, not as slides type), for that the Competition Presentation will give more unique performance compare to speech competitions. I believe that Competition Presentation would take more energy of participants because they need to master the Topic presentation also they must control their talk timely with changing frames on screen.
How the participants could manage two plate forms of competition? The simple answer is Training Session, that’s why there’s always Training Program in a Schedule plan before the competition will be performed “LIVE” on television show, the reason is The Television Company has to provide professional competition show to its audience to gain “Trust” and giving exclusive impressions so they could join the TV program by voting text messages, and because of this part become so important then you can find at the flowchart clips where there’s a rehearsal session by Judges before It is going to be “On Air” (Semifinal Round and Grand Final).
The concept of Materials Presentation where the participants try to master the topic presentation by their own style and during this time, the animation personnel will provide them with frames according to participant’s wish and from that point, each of participant try to adjust their performance with others because this is Team Performance but will be rated as individual achievement, and at the final stage they will synchronize their performance each other become Continuity Speech directed by Moving Pictures (Animation frames).
The Topic Presentation of this kind competition would come from facts that actually exist and surrounding us in generally, maybe as environment; transition of culture, era, technology; Global issues and many more which could giving the choices for audience to take actions.
